In many cases, if you can use a few simple tools, mounting this style of  removable storm windows is easy if you desire to do it yourself. It only requires 2 or 4 tiny screw holes around the border of the window frame. These tiny holes can easily be filled with putty or wood filler and made invisible if you make any mistakes installing them. The important thing is to begin to save gas or electricity costs. 

In some cases these removable windows require no modifications to your current arraignments. In some cases, the current window shades might have to be raised or moved forward depending upon the way your window hardware is currently arraigned. 

The average cost of one unit is hard to know until the color and the type of finish is established and an appointment is made. There is a minimum order of $200.00. Individual units are $100-$200 dollars apiece, and the costs are lower depending upon the amount of portable storm windows ordered. Because some people have a desire to save money now, unfinished units where the customer paints them or finishes them will be considered. 

Again, just a few tiny holes won't hurt a window frame. The important thing is to conserve gas and electricity. 

Please take note.  I am semi-retired, so until my grand-kids get a little more involved in the business, certain orders will take a bit more time.
